Painting With Light is an introductory workshop designed to teach students the fundamentals of taking a creative photograph using light to capture a creative effect. This workshop will teach students how to adjust their camera settings to achieve noise reduction and demonstrate how the image you envision can be altered significantly by using different light sources and applying the corresponding settings to your camera to render the best results.

Types of light sources that will be used during the workshop are:

• Assorted LED's
• LED Flashlights
• Assorted Flashlights, including maglite
• Fairy Lights

The light sources listed above are easily accessible and are already likely to be found within your home, which will make practising the newfound skills you will have learnt from this workshop A LOT easier.
