This is a career training course that will give you the practical skills needed to start you on your way to professional employment either with established photographic studios or as a fully self employed professional freelance photographer. Topics covered include: Camera Techniques Lighting Control Photographic Design and Composition Wedding Photography Studio Photography Portraiture Industrial and Commercial Photography Sport and Action Photography Travel Photography
Students will also receive instruction on studio layout and design, business principles and how to search out employment opportunities. By the end of the course, students will have been given guidance in the creation of a professional portfolio. The Professional Portfolio is an assessable component of the course – it is the credential that will establish your professional competency with customers or potential employers.
