	PHOTOGRAPHIC		Do you own a digital or SLR camera ?
	TECHNIQUES 1		Do you want to get the most out of its functions ?
			Would you like to get better results from your photography ?

			This course is the foundation module for all our photographic studies. You
			will learn the basics of photography and progress to the stage where you
			can use your camera confidently and creatively. This course is presented
			in a professional photographic studio and is conducted over six weeks
			(one night per week) in conjunction with a Saturday afternoon field trip,
			where students will have the opportunity to put their new skills into practice
			under the supervision of their instructors.

			The course is designed for those with either film or digital cameras, with
			access to creative controls such as aperture and shutter speed.

	PHOTOGRAPHIC		Now that you have completed the basic photography module, you can
	TECHNIQUES 2		progress into exciting new skill areas that will fire up your creativity. This is
			an advanced photography course covering the subjects that every serious
			photographer has wanted to explore. Some of these subjects include:

			Portraiture
			Exposure Metering Systems
			Flash Photography
			Exposure Compensation
			Creative Visualisation
			Colour Correction Filters / White Balance
			Night Photography with field trip
			Basic Macro Photography

			Completion of Photographic Techniques 1 is a prerequisite for this course.

			Matting and Framing Workshop
			Learn how to select and cut your own matt and make a frame to enhance
			your images.

			Advanced Portraiture
	Coming Soon		This workshop covers advanced portraiture techniques including "Low Key"
			with professional models for the practical element. Prerequisites for this
			workshop are Photographic Techniques 1 and 2.

	BLACK AND WHITE -		Learn how to process and print your own black and white photographs -
	PROCESSING AND		it's easier than you think, and you don't need expensive equipment to do
	PRINTING		your own processing at home! You will also learn creative darkroom
			techniques and how to tone your prints.

			Course fees include cost of film, chemistry, paper, plus 2 complimentary
			4 hour sessions in the darkroom at the completion of the course. After
			the completion of the course, you can hire the school's darkroom at
			$20/hr (incl equipment and chemistry).

	FREELANCE		This is a career training course that will give you the practical skills
	PHOTOGRAPHY		needed to start you on your way to professional employment either with
	COURSE		established photographic studios or as a fully self employed
			professional freelance photographer. Topics covered include:

			Camera Techniques
			Lighting Control
			Photographic Design and Composition
			Wedding Photography
			Studio Photography
			Portraiture
			Industrial and Commercial Photography
			Sport and Action Photography
			Travel Photography

			Students will also received instruction on studio layout and design,
			business principles and how to search out employment opportunities.
			By the end of the course, students will have been given guidance in
			the creation of a professional portfolio.

			The Professional Portfolio is an assessable component of the course -
			it is the credential that will establish your professional competancy with
			customers or potential employers.
